booked a room with delightful views over the bay. the staff was ready to assist, really friendly and extremely polite people. the location was particularly good and beautiful, for example, knysna waterfront was approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel.

Truly enjoyed my very nice stay for 3 nights. It was near to the waterfront and the thesans Islands and the nice cafes, bars and restaurants, and the center, marvellous location overall. It also was close to town centre

Greatly enjoyed my very relaxing stay during our visit. the hotel was in a stunning location not far from the shopping mall. - the Main Road was immediately below the guest house, which added to the convenience. - It was also close to the Knysna Manor House and the Knysna waterfront area.

We were made to feel very welcome during our stay, Brenda and Antony were very helpful. we would recommend the hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Knysna.

The Knysna Manor House has a lot of history and was once owned by the 1st Mayor of Knysna - about 12 bedrooms. The house is heritage listed and beautifully kept.We had a large bedroom with a king-sized bed and all facilities. Very comfortable. Great views from the balcony outside our bedroom. Beautiful antique furniture everywhere. The owners were very friendly and informative, and we had a delicious breakfast. They do not do dinners, but we drove (you could walk) down town to the lovely water front for a choice of restaaurants. We were only staying overnight but could have stayed longer.

I absolutely loved the charming and elegant decor of the guest house, it truly felt like stepping back in time to a bygone era. The general areas were beautifully maintained, and I particularly enjoyed spending time on the deck, taking in the picturesque view. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The staff were always ready to assist me with any needs I had, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

While my overall stay was wonderful, I would have appreciated a handrail or grab bars in the bathroom for added safety and convenience. This would have made my vacation as a senior woman even better.

Delicious meals, great location within walking distance to the sea, offering stunning views of mountains and the lagoon, excellent service, and convenient onsite parking.

Large bedroom.

Breakfast was very poor quality, the fruit wasn`t fresh and the cooked breakfast was very small. There was a beatiful terrace where we would have liked to have sat out in the evening and admired the view, but this was gated and locked by 8pm. We understand the need for security but this was at the back of the property, above ground.

Brenda is a very sweet and nice lady / she can fix / advice on all necessary travel / foods…….almost everything.
